Founder, Writer & Chief Cat Wrangler
Carly is a tourism marketer, reader, foster cat mom, and lifelong storyteller based in North Carolina. She spends her free time reading, exploring local coffee shops and bookstores, fostering animals, and documenting the little moments that make life special.
Favorite things: libraries, cozy mysteries, bookstore trips, fostering cats, and finding new adventures close to home.
Tech Support & Website Manager
Ryan keeps Paw Prints & Paperbacks running behind the scenes. From website updates and troubleshooting to making Carly's ideas actually work on the internet, he's the reason everything doesn't immediately break.
Favorite things: solving problems, supporting wild creative ideas, and being outnumbered by cats.
Chief Operating Officer
Stitch is the eldest resident cat and the unofficial manager of the household. A tortoiseshell who arrived through the Cat Distribution System after being found in a car engine, she somehow manages to be both only two years old and a complete grandma at heart.
She spends her days supervising the other cats, monitoring household activities, and making sure everyone is exactly where they're supposed to be.
Director of Sunshine & Snuggles
Lilo is a calico who was adopted from Durham SPCA and brings the perfect balance of sass and sweetness to the team. She loves soaking up the sun, claiming the coziest spots in the house, and reminding everyone that affection should always happen on her schedule.
When she's not napping in a sunny window, she's usually looking for cuddles.
Junior Chaos Coordinator
Simba is the team's resident orange cat and a proud foster fail. What started as a temporary arrangement quickly became permanent when he made himself at home.
He brings endless curiosity, boundless energy, and exactly the kind of chaotic orange-cat antics you'd expect. Life is never boring when Simba is involved.
